The Victorian Off Road Racing Association (VORRA) was established in 1968, originally known as the Buggy Association of Victoria, when a group of people with similar interests met in a workshop in Springvale.

Mafeking Rover Park, is over 130 Hectares (320 acres) offering a diverse landscape of open land, scrub and bush providing a
variety of camping opportunities and areas to explore.

• Golf Course - Nine hole Golf Course.
• Nature Trail - a large Nature reserve available for groups to explore. The nature reserve incorporates a nature trail which is accessed by crossing the slat bridge and allows patrons of the park to explore the area and see some of the unique features the area has to offer.
• Flora and Fauna - The indigenous fauna of Mafeking Rover Park is amazing in its variety. While exploring the park during your
visit you may wish to know what to look for and where to find it. A range of indigenous mammal species inhabit the forest areas of Mafeking Rover Park.
• Volley Ball – Grass court near the picnic shelter.
• Swimming – Lake Surfmoot and Nudie Dam purpose built swimming areas.
• BMX track – Grass track.
• Comfort facilities - Shower and toilet facilities available.
